While people of all abilities are welcome in all Community Education classes and activities, the HOPE program offers specialized activities for adults with developmental disabilities to learn, grow, and socialize with others.  Local classes and activities plus outings to a variety of exciting destinations and shows have been increasing in popularity since the program began in 1998.

Participants can attend alone if they are able to function independently in a group setting, follow simple directions, and communicate their needs.  If personal care assistance is needed, a family member or staff must register and attend to assist.  Reasonable accommodations will be made to meet the needs of all participants, for HOPE activities or others offered by Community Education. Most accommodations need at least one week advance notice.
