ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE (ESL)
English as a second Language is training for individuals whose first language is not English. Training is designed to help participants learn English reading, writing, listening and speaking skills.  Beginning, intermediate, and advanced level classes or individualized instruction is available. Citizen preparation classes are also offered. ESL opportunities are offered at the Elk River Learning Lab at the Handke Center at 1170 Main Street in Elk River, MN.
