Kindergarten Plus (KPlus)

KPlus is a District 728 Community Education alternate day kindergarten enrichment program with an educational focus, featuring a planned curriculum that compliments the school day by reinforcing phonics, math, and other academic areas. Fun and less structured learning time allows exploration in topics of interest and time to address individual needs.  With the classes limited to 20, KPlus has between a 1:10 and 1:12 adult to student ratio.

Your child attends Kindergarten Plus on the days he or she is not at school. KPlus is open to students from any school. Bring your child to the program site at 9am, or use the extended day option, "EdVentureClub", open from 6am-6pm.  Bus transportation or staff deliver students between EdVenture Club and  their KPlus classroom or Kindergarten classroom.

School hot lunch (including milk) can be purchased through the school lunch service.

KPlus is a full year program.  Consistent attendance is encouraged for maximum benefit.  The fee allows your child to attend all of the days in the month for one standard fee.  The yearly fee is $2280 with the transportation option ($254/month) or $1980 withouth transportation ($220/month).  If extended hours are needed on your KPlus day and/or your school day, the EdVenture Club schedule and rates can be added.

Students from ALL elementary schools can access KPlus, even if it is not at the same site as their regular, every-other-day kindergarten location:

KPlus hours are 9:00am-3:30pm at our  Otsego, and Rogers location

KPlus hours are 8:25am-2:55pm at Zimmerman Elementary location

Bus transportation between schools and KPlus is provided if you are using EdVenture Club before and after school (open 6am-6pm)

Bus transportation between home and KPlus is available within your home attendance area on the regular bus schedule for an additional $300 for the year.  Our EdVenture Club staff will be in charge of assisting the students on and off the buses each day.
