Welcome to Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE)

ECFE/School Readiness is a program for all Minnesota families with children between the ages of birth and kindergarten enrollment.

It recognizes that families provide children's first and most important learning environments and parents are children's first and most significant teachers.

ECFE is located in:
* the North Wing of the Handke Center
* the Zimmerman Elementary School
* the Rogers Elementary School

ECFE's Nature Classroom

Our Nature Classroom is underway thanks to grants and donations, but we have only begun! We need YOUR help in moving forward. Join us as we continue to build our Nature Classroom!

Summer Planting and Work Schedule:
August 11, 5-8pm

You and your family are invited! Bring your garden gloves and we will provide the refreshments!

We are now taking registrations for Summer ECFE Classes and Fall 2010 Discovery Preschool Classes!

Early Childhood Family Education has a wide assortment of classes and activities that fit right into your summer schedule. Conveniently offered during the daytime and evening hours, there is something for everyone! Infant massage classes, Pint-Sized Science, Ice Cream Making, Family Field trips as well as targeted classes for toddlers through age 5.
