Bring your blankets and lawn chairs for an evening of fun! The movie has not yet been selected but will be posted on our website in June at www.parkandrec.cityofrogers.org. Concessions and some activities have a minimal cost associated. Reserve July 29 at North Community Park, (lighted city fields) located at 13750 Bittersweet Lane, Rogers.
Sponsored by M&I Bank, Rogers Lions and City of Rogers Parks & Recreation.
*Sponsorship Opportunities
Rogers Parks & Recreation is seeking community sponsorship funding for various summer programs including family entertainment and youth programs. Historically we have been very successful with our programs; however, without financial support some of our programs had to be cancelled last year and we would like to bring them back. Being a sponsor not only benefits the community but also raises awareness for businesses and associates. Sponsors are recognized at events, on fliers, press releases and posters. In addition, all financial support received provides you with a tax deduction — a formal acknowledgment and tax verification receipt will be sent to all sponsors directly from the City of Rogers.
Sponsorship forms and programs can be found at www.parkandrec.cityofrogers.org.
*Step To It Challenge
A four-week, family friendly physical activity competition! Walk with your city and could WIN Twins Tickets. This is co-partnered by Hennepin County MN Vision (a statewide health improvement program) and the MN Twins. The top stepper for Rogers will win Twin tickets and three other sets will be given out via a drawing. Begin counting your steps and converting your other physical activities into steps, then record them and report them to Step To It or Rogers Parks & Rec. It’s easy to join and do, so don’t miss out!
Registration information and conversion charts are on-line at www.parkandrec.cityofrogers.org/
