Middle School Track Coaches, Spring  $12-$15/hr (age 18-adult)
MS Track coaches are needed for the spring 2010 season.  Qualified applicants will have high school track experience, sports experience and/or college with sports training.  Looking for emphasis in jumps, relays, hurdles and various runs.  Applicants need to be available Mon-Thur, April 19-May 20 from 3:00-5:00pm. Times will be longer on event days.

 

Lifeguards Needed $8.50-$10.50 DOQ

Lifeguards needed for weekday mornings, afternoons and evenings as well as Sunday Evenings during the summer months.  Employees will be working at VandenBerge MS Pool in Elk River.  Qualifications: certified lifeguard, extremely responsible. Adults with Disabilities Substitute Instructors $15.00/hr (age 18-Adult)
Community Education is now hiring substitute instructors for our H.O.P.E. program, an Adults with Disabilities Program serving our local community.
Qualifications:
~Experience working with individuals who have mental and physical disabilities.
~Experience planning leading and organizing a variety of activities including crafts, games, sports,  
  cooking, social and enrichment type classes.
~The ability to plan and lead activities that are appropriate to skill level.
~Responsible for leading or assisting with leading large groups on a community outing.
~Good communication skills.
~Problem solving skills in stressful situations.
~Communicate with the program specialist in a timely manner, this include before activity prep work (1 week preferred) and follow up (24-48hours following).

Tennis Instructors $12.00-$16.00 per hour (Age 18-Adult)

Instruct tennis for elementary, teen and/or adults in Otsego, Rogers and/or Zimmerman weekdays and Saturdays this spring and summer. Instruct adult and youth recreation activities at various locations across ISD 728.  Qualifications:  Experience instructing recreation program for youth preschool age through grade 8 and/or adults.  Must have basic knowledge of game rules and fundamentals. Minnesota Reading Corps (MRC) Members needed for ISD 728

Minnesota Reading Corps (MRC) is an AmeriCorps program that serves preschools and elementary schools across Minnesota.  MRC members not only receive state-of-the-art literacy training and valuable experience, but are also part of a growing program that will ensure that over 8,000 children will become successful readers!

 Help keep ISD 728 kids from falling through the cracks!  Serve for one year with MRC, beginning next August.  Positions are paid with a stipend, education award, and full-time members receive free health care.  Learn more at www.MinnesotaReadingCorps.org.
