How To Register

On-line Catalog: To view the course catalog and a description of current offerings, click on "Course Catalog" on the menu above.

On-line New Registrants:  Click on the "New Account" link on the above menu.  You will be prompted to set up an account ID and password. Please print and retain this information for your records.

On-line Returning Registrants: If you have participated in our activities before, your account has already been set up.  Click on the "My Account" link on the above menu bar.  If you do not know your password, please contact us at communityed@elkriver.k12.mn.us and you will be notified of your password.  You can change your password and update account information whenever you log in.

EdVenture Club and Club Summer Registrants:  Click here to learn how to register for EdVenture Club our before and after school program and Club Summer our non school months program.

To register by phone, fax, in person, drop box or mail: Just print the registration form below and mail, fax, drop off the registration form or stop by the Community Education or Early Childhood Family Education Offices to register in person.

Important information regarding Community Education Registrations

  • Community Education Office Hours 8:30am-5:00pm (school year) & 8:00am-4:30pm (Memorial Day through Labor Day)
  • E-mail address: communityed@elkriver.k12.mn.us
  • Am I in? Yes! unless you hear from us. We'll contact you if your class is canceled, changed or full.
  • Classes are intended for the specified ages and only registered participants may attend. Participants must be the minimum age by the class start date.
  • If registering a child, please confirm their birth date and update their current school and grade level in the registration profile.
  • Refunds or credits cannot be given for forgotten classes ... please mark your calendar!
  • Cancellations must be made at least 3 business days prior to activities (or by the registration deadline indicated). Some activities, supplies or tickets are not refundable.
  • You must call the office to request cancellations. (not available on-line)
  • Adults are given priority for adult classes, unless specified. Ages 15-17 may be able to register if space permits.
  • We are currently taking photographs of many of our activities, which may be used in our quarterly brochures, websites, news releases or displays at events. Please let us know in writing if you do not wish to have you or your child’s photo in our publicity.
  • Fee assistance is available for most youth programs. (except child care, Edventure Club, Club Summer, outings, some private lessons, and Behind the Wheel Training)
